At the core of “Marchiondi Proximity” lies a conversation with the past, specifically with the ruins that define this space. The project willingly embraces challenges like the existing vegetation and the intricate architectural elements already in place. The objective was to navigate this space, to breathe new life into the gaps within the buildings.

The aim was for an ephemeral design, unintrusive, modular, and easily transportable. These guiding principles led to an approach based on tubes and joint structures. This scaffolding seamlessly integrates into the Marchiondi, creating a striking contrast between its lightness and the majestic weight of the ruin.
